Not mine, they're owned by a friend of mine. Both 68's. One is 307, coupe the other 327 4spd fastback SS. He's got a nice collection of cool 66-72 GM stuff. And some square-body trucks too.

    Attachment 26031 If you squint you'll see a 66' Nova SS 4spd with fancy power steering. I can't remember if it's a 283 or 327.

    And now it's snowing....
This van takes way longer to clear the windshield than the Mirage! I idled for 6-8 minutes and cleared it enough see. It wasn't fully cleared until 20 mins later. I'll have to clean the garage out tonight cause this parking outside thing is for the birds! I'm hoping I can still fit the van in there with the airbags inflated cause it did lift it up a good 3-4".

When I tried the remote start at the end of the day yesterday it wouldn't start. Battery was dead...I forgot that I tested it weeks ago and it was weak but never failed to start until now. I boosted it and drove it into the shop and went searching for the largest battery that'd fit in the tray. A 27 group fit perfectly. So no more problems there.
On the way home the transmission started acting up, flared shifts and harsh into overdrive. Just like it was low on fluid. I limped it home.
The Mirage has been sitting in the driveway covered in snow but it fired up fine.
I cleaned out the garage and made room for the van and the neglected Mirage. Tried pulling the van in, stopped halfway to check roof clearance and it was hitting the door frame. Back out it came...I let the air out of the airbags and tried again. It fit. I was worried the springs wouldn't sag down enough that fast but they did.
I didn't bother checking the trans fluid yet. I'll pick up a bunch of dex/mer III, I planned to change it anyway so here's hoping it's not completely trashed.

I changed the transmission fluid. Just did a drain and fill. Old fluid looked great. Dumped 4 qts of multi vehicle fluid back in and tried it out. No difference. It takes off fine, shifts to 2nd and usually 3rd ok but reved up while shifting to 4th and it took a second or two unless I let off the throttle. It’d also clunk hard shifting to 3rd once in a while. It always had mushy shifts but not like this. I recall seeing a sticker under the hood that says after disconnecting the battery the transmission might shift like Pooh until you drive it for 1-2hrs. I drove for about 30 mins and it felt acted up slightly less but still far from good. While on the hoist I discovered the rh inner tie rod is worn worse than before…
Drove in to work this morning and after 10 mins it started shifting better and I didn't notice any odd shifting for the last 3-4 start and stops. Will report back this evening how that goes.

And as for the inner tie rod, there are a few importers that sell new ones for all the money. Some show the older L300(toyotovan lookalike) rods as being the same, if that's the case ordering one for a 1990 Mitsubishi Van might be an option. More comparing part numbers needed. Seems like anytime a post is made about part fitment on the Delica forums, one of the popular importer(same one that wants $380 for a windshield then and another $400 to put it into a crate plus whatever it would cost to ship it 600 miles) just posts to buy from them rather than buy something for an 1/8 the price from a local store. Same goes for ball joints and other parts that fit other vehicles like the Montero which can be sourced in N/A.

And, I filled it up with fuel last night. Fuelly tells me I got 16L/100km 14.7mpg
