Pep Boys: SMP-RU-889 Blower Motor Resistor

    Kinda pricey at $98.99/ea.

Are you able to check the resistor pack for resistance/continuity?

Turns out dealers are cheaper for this part:

    mitsubishiparts.com: HVAC Blower Motor Resistor - Mitsubishi (7801A157) $45.72
    mitsubishipartswarehouse.com HVAC Blower Motor Resistor - Mitsubishi (7801A157) $41.48
    mitsubishidirectparts.com: HVAC Blower Motor Resistor - Mitsubishi (7801A157) $41.37
    mitsubishipartsnow.com: HVAC Blower Motor Resistor - Mitsubishi (7801A157) $42.18
    mitsubishifactoryparts.com: HVAC Blower Motor Resistor - Mitsubishi (7801A157) $38.54

Note: I ordered my Rockford Fosgate kit from Mitsubishi Parts Now out of Tallahassee and found them easy to work with.

If you can’t find one by Monday I could probably send one over. Probably ship 7milesout a piston at the same time before I forget.

I wonder if that ru889 part number is for auto temp controls.
I thought the ones I removed didn’t have a heat sink.

I wondered the same thing as most of the Mitsubishi parts sites had diagrams, not actual pictures. But all the descriptions for Mitsubishi P/N 7801A157 specified "Exc.Automatic Temperature Controls."

Edit: I found the Mitsubishi part number on some website for the RU-889. It happened to match up when searching for Johnny's 2017 ES.

I just gotta finger out shipping. I assume snail mail would be the cheapest.

I think I might have found an alternative. Can't be 100% sure but looks the same to me. An ebay listing popped up https://www.ebay.ca/itm/203859942177...3Avlp_homepage
Shows 2004 Toyota echo along with a bunch of older Mitsubishi's. It looks the same eh?
Looked up heater resistor for a 2004 echo and came up with a standard part number RU244. And a bunch of others. Dorman 973160, four seasons 20159. Might be worth a gander.
    https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...+resistor,6557 They're only $10-20! I'd bet half a left nut that they're the same.
