    I agree.
Give one a test drive and prove yourself right. My niece almost barfed and mine's one of the slower ones.

It probably won't be as fast as your bike. Safer though...

You'd have to install your fart pipes too.

Take one for a test drive. Just be sure there's lots of room ahead before you punch it. You're going to get there a lot quicker than you think.

Can't wait to see their new Roadster.

Not exactly holding my breath but the numbers are very impressive:
    0-60mph: 1.9 seconds
    Top speed: +250mph
    Range: 620 miles

Very few gasoline cars can do that. Those that can are several times more expensive.

It'll sell a lot of tires.

There's very little chance my motorcycle is anywhere near that fast. But here's the thing, once I had enough knee-dragging motorcycle racing, all my need for speed went out the window. Trust me when I say, fast driving on the street is not fast at all. It's actually quite dumb. There are no corner workers on the street, and every single female has their phone in their hand and most glued to their face. And half the males do too. I'm glued to what's going on, and focused on smooth comfortable driving. Not trying to get from one traffic light to the next as quick as possible.

0-60mph: 1.9 seconds - Means nothing to me. I could care less. If it did, I wouldn't own a Mirage now would I?
Top speed: 250+ mph ... why? It's irrelevant. If I ever tried it, I'd crash or get caught by the law.
Range: 620 miles - For the first charge and -10 miles each subsequent charge. But even if it's 620 miles, it takes 4 days and 7 hours to recharge to get another 620 miles out of it.

Don't get me wrong. I don't DISLIKE electric cars. But when they produce one that is actually green, can be fully charged in south Georgia in 15 minutes, and is AFFORDABLE. I might be interested. But not for the 0-60 mph times.

I haven't driven on any roads where my Mirage couldn't match the posted speed limit.

The 620 mile range is nice. If they sell a base model for under $10,000 OTD brand new some day, I might be interested.

I don't care about top speed either. I don't go over 130kph/80mph anyways(anymore). 7milesout, have you ever topped out your dodge? My 02 was governed at 160kph/100mph.

I figure everyone already hates the Mirage so might as well carry on and get another hated vehicle. Only thing is stopping me from driving down and getting me a used money pit, I don't have 38k. And I already have one bad financial decision sitting in the driveway. If I could weasel up decent financing I'd snap that car up.

You must have had 4.10 or 4.11 gearing. My truck has 3.5454545454545454 and so on gearing.

The answer is no. I haven't topped it out. I want to say that I had it to about 110 mph one time. It was kind of scary. It sounded like the engine was going to blow, even though they say they can run WOT on the governor for days and days. And they say that certain boats / ships that run 6BT engines, do run for days and days at WOT. I have no firsthand knowledge of that.

If I were to guess, I'd say the governed rpm of the engine would limit it to about 115 to 120 mph.

No it had the same gears as you but had the automagic trashbox. It had a speed limiter at 160kph it wasn't red lined. It had a rev limiter too iirc but I only hit that at lower speeds being stupid.
